About Us

For over 130 years SYC has called Sandusky Bay home. A social club for boaters, SYC boasts a membership of 800 families that create memories on Sandusky Bay whether it be on the water or at their downtown Sandusky property that features a full clubhouse and resort style amenities. Over 200 vessels call SYC their home port as they boat throughout the Shores and Islands region.

SYC also welcomes many visitors to Sandusky Bay through their reciprocity with Inter Lake Yachting Association and Yacht Clubs of America. SYC is one of the most desired cruising destinations throughout Lake Erie.

While SYC is a private member organization, they play an active role in the community hosting many community, social, fundraising, and public events.

The members of Sandusky Yacht Club have the mission "To provide the highest level of recreational boating experiences, while creating a sense of community among its members. To foster an environment that is both inviting and entertaining and creates lifetime memories on Sandusky Bay.
