Here's some background about Jennifer:
Jennifer Buch has worked in public libraries for almost 20 years but has enjoyed visiting them since she was a child. Reading books has always been a favorite activity, and libraries have always been a happy place to visit especially her hometown library in Reading, PA. After twelve years of teaching and completing her library degree at the University of South Carolina, she moved to Ohio to work as a children’s librarian at Ida Rupp Public Library in Port Clinton, branch manager of Marblehead Peninsula Branch Library, assistant director at Sandusky Library, and now director at Huron Public Library. Her job consists of saying yes to staff ideas, chatting with community members, and advocating for the library along with a myriad of meetings. Her favorite part about working in a public library is connecting people with correct information. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys reading, cooking, crafting cards, cheering on her favorite Philadelphia teams (Go Birds!), and spending time with her family, especially at DisneyWorld.
