Maintenance Supervisor

Mack Iron is seeking a full-time Maintenance Coordinator to coordinate and/or conduct facility and manufacturing equipment maintenance and repair operations. The position is responsible for overseeing facility infrastructure and reports to the Shop Superintendent. Responsibilities include the purchase of facility and manufacturing-related consumable supplies to support operations.

Required Areas of Knowledge and/or Skill

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in industrial-related maintenance (certification in an applicable technical field and/or enrollment in a qualified program is a plus)
• Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety requirements (e.g., LO/TO, HazCom)
• Problem solving skills, ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, and work independently
• Communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and physically able to safely lift 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out scheduled and preventative maintenance
• Facilitate troubleshooting and repair activities
• Develop maintenance procedures and organize/maintain electronic maintenance records
• Oversee maintenance of company infrastructure systems, e.g., phone, electrical, electronic, fire suppression, HVAC, plumbing, responding to interruptions and emergency situations
• Support company operations by maintaining inventory of shop consumables, required tooling, personal protective equipment (PPE) and First Aid
• Conduct all functions in accordance with company and OSHA safety requirements
• Oversee indoor/outdoor facility cleanliness and grounds upkeep
