Sandusky's Historic Firelands Winery Unveils "The 1800" Bourbon Bar
Firelands Winery, a cornerstone of Ohio’s winemaking heritage, is proud to announce the grand opening of its newest addition: The 1880. This upscale bourbon bar, located within the estate’s historic winery, marks a bold new chapter that blends deep-rooted local history with a refined spirits experience.
Named in honor of the year the winery was first established, The 1880 offers an intimate atmosphere designed to celebrate the legacy of the Firelands region. Guests can now enjoy a curated selection of premium bourbons alongside historical relics that reflect years gone by.
'We wanted to create a space that pays homage to our 145-year history while offering something fresh for our visitors," said the team at Firelands Winery. "The 1880 is a tribute to the craftsmanship and heritage that have defined this property since the 19th century."
The 1880 features:
· A Curated Bourbon List: A robust selection featuring rare finds, small-batch labels, and timeless favorites.
· Historic Ambiance: A sophisticated setting that honors the architectural character of the original winery.
· Refined Pairings: A light menu featuring sharable plates and charcuterie designed to complement both bourbon and the atmosphere.
